Who we are
HelloBrigitApply is an independent consumer-information website about the Brigit cash advance app and the wider world of small-dollar borrowing. We publish plain-English guides to how Brigit works, what it costs, who qualifies and how it compares with alternatives, and we operate a loan-comparison form that connects visitors who need more than Brigit offers with a network of personal-loan lenders.
The site is owned and operated by HBA Media LLC, 123 Main Street, Suite 400, Wilmington, DE 19801. We are not Brigit, we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Bridge It, Inc., and we are not a lender. "Brigit" and "Instant Cash" are trademarks of Bridge It, Inc., used here only to identify the product we write about.
Why this site exists
Cash advance apps are marketed on a big number — "up to $500" — and sold on a subscription. The gap between the headline and what a new user actually gets is where most frustration (and most of the 2023 FTC case) comes from. We started HelloBrigitApply to close that gap: to tell you the real starting limits, the real eligibility rules, the real cost per advance, and what to do when the app says no — before you pay for a membership.
How we make money
We may receive compensation when you click a link to a lender or app on this site, and when you submit the "Apply now" form and are matched with a lender in our partner network. That compensation funds the research and keeps the guides free. It does not change what we write: our ratings, comparisons and verdicts are set by the editorial team using the criteria in our editorial policy, and lenders cannot pay for placement or a better score. Full details are on the advertiser disclosure page.
The team
Our guides are written by a small in-house editorial team and reviewed by a consumer-credit specialist before publication. Every page shows its last-updated date and links to this policy.
- Lead editor — covers cash advance apps, earned-wage access and small-dollar lending; maintains the Brigit test accounts and the competitor fee data.
- Consumer-credit reviewer — background in nonprofit credit counseling; checks every guide for accuracy, missing caveats and plain-English clarity before it goes live.
- Research assistant — tracks Brigit's terms, app-store listings and regulator filings for changes and schedules re-verification.
How we research
- Primary sources first. Brigit's Terms of Service, Help Center and app-store listings; FTC filings and press releases; state regulator publications.
- Hands-on testing. We maintain Brigit accounts and test the application, delivery and cancellation flows ourselves.
- Competitor data from the source. Fees and limits for alternatives come from each provider's own website or app listing, with the check date shown.
- Dated and revisited. Every guide carries an "updated" date and is re-checked when Brigit changes pricing, limits or terms.
