Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how HBA Media LLC ("HelloBrigitApply", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit hellobrigitapply.com (the "Site") or submit our loan-comparison form. It applies to this Site only. Lenders, Brigit, app stores and other third parties have their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Loan-comparison form: name, email, phone, date of birth, address, Social Security number, employment and income details, bank account and routing information, and the loan amount requested. This form is operated by our lender-matching network partner; the information is transmitted to that partner over an encrypted connection.
Contact: whatever you include in an email or message to us.

Information collected automatically

Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, referring URL, time on page and clicks, collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies and our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4).
Whether you clicked a link to a partner, so the partner can attribute a referral.

How we use information

To connect you with lenders and lending partners when you submit the form, and to let them evaluate and respond to your request.
To operate, secure and improve the Site and measure which content is useful.
To respond to your messages and honor your privacy requests.
To comply with law, enforce our Terms and protect our rights.
With your consent, to send you information about related products.

Lender-matching network and lenders: form submissions are shared with the network operator and with lenders and lending partners who may contact you by phone, text, email or mail about a loan. Their use of your information is governed by their own policies.
Service providers: hosting, analytics, email and security vendors acting on our instructions.
Advertising and attribution partners: cookies and pixels may share browsing information with partners to attribute referrals and measure campaigns. This may be a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws — see your rights below.
Legal: when required by law, subpoena or to protect safety and rights.
Business transfers: if we are acquired or merge, information may transfer to the successor.

We do not sell the Social Security numbers, bank details or other sensitive information you enter in the loan form to anyone other than the lender-matching network for the purpose you submitted it.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies (site function), analytics cookies (aggregate usage) and attribution cookies (partner referrals). You can block cookies in your browser; the Site works without them, though some features may not. Where required, a consent banner lets you choose categories. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing where state law requires.

Your privacy rights (California and other states)

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it's used and shared; access and receive a copy; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising and certain profiling; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: email [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share", or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We will honor the request within 15 business days. Opting out does not withdraw information already sent to lenders at your request; contact those lenders directly.

You may use an authorized agent with written permission. We respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days where permitted). If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.

California notice at collection: categories collected — identifiers, personal records (financial, employment), commercial information, internet activity, geolocation (approximate), inferences. Sources — you, your device, partners. Purposes — as described above. Retention — see below. We have "sold" or "shared" identifiers and internet activity with advertising/attribution partners and the lender network in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share information of consumers under 16.

Retention and security

We keep form submissions for as long as needed to complete the match and meet legal and audit obligations (currently 24 months), and analytics data in aggregate or pseudonymous form. We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls and reputable hosting, but no system is perfectly secure; don't send sensitive information by email.

Children

The Site is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Links to Brigit, app stores, lenders and other sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
